It wouldn't be Christmas without eggnog. We make this recipe every year - often multiple times, and it is always a hit! Why not mix things up and bring eggnog to your next holiday potluck. Or, whip up this recipe on Christmas Day for an indulgent treat you and your family are sure to enjoy. Serves 6 4 cups milk 1 cup heavy cream (chilled) 1 cup sugar 12 large egg yolks 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/2 cup rum (optional) Fresh grated nutmeg Directions Whisk milk and sugar together in a medium pot on medium heat until sugar dissolves. Using a large bowl, whisk egg yolks. Continue whisking while pouring the hot sugar and milk into eggs. Place mixture back in pot and cook on medium-low heat for 20 -25 minutes. Stir often and do not let mixture bubble. Strain into a bowl and add rum and cream. Add cinnamon. Allow eggnog to cool. Top chilled beverage with nutmeg. 'Tis the season! Enjoy loves! xo

This is definitely one of the most amazing eggnog recipes that I have tried, just like you said. The holidays are all about the eggnog, and I am happy that I got this amazing recipe of yours. If you have other holiday related recipes, then I would love to try them out. I am not that great of a cook, but I can follow instructions at least. I really think that I can improve my cooking by using your recipes.
